Chai Latte heaven, or why every office should have a Tassimo Pro

I’ve told you about the Tassimo Pro beverage system system before. Actually, I raved about it, so it should come as no surprise that when tassimo asked if we wanted to try out their new premium flavors, the answer was a resounding yes. My wife was especially excited to try the new Chai Latte, and I’m game to try any new coffee flavor.

We weren’t disappointed.

They shipped us a sampling of their new premium flavors, Chai Latte and Cafe Noir Roast.

My wife is the chai expert in the cbsop test kitchens, having had it both in the US and overseas. Her verdict? She says this might possible be the best chai she’s ever had. High praise indeed. I myself am not much of a chai fan, but even I thought it was good, and the cbsop tasting panel (the kids) agreed.

The Cafe Noir Roast is off the charts good. Trust me. It has to be the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had from a single cup system. The flavor is deep, rich and it’s more than strong enough. It’s everything I’d expect from a good coffee house and more. (it’s so good that I finished the first cup and ran back for seconds immediately. No joke.)

This is truly coffee shop quality stuff. It’s far more flavorful than the last batch of samples we tried, and both of these flavors are now on my “must have in stock” list. I can’t think of a better way to start the day and get the creative juices flowing than with this coffee, and i know that my wife will happily sip on the tea while she works.

Pease note: even though I’m using this machine in my home office, the TassimoPro is designed to be an office coffee machine. The disks are only available for order from business suppliers. You can’t buy them in normal stores, and they aren’t compatible with Tassimo home machines because they use a proprietary double bar code system.

Having said that, we use this at home and have had little issue finding the disks. I drink a LOT of coffee, so the home units just aren’t durable enough. We buy a new “normal” coffee maker at least once per year because they wear out under heavy usage. This machine is built to be used, so it’s my coffee maker of choice.

In closing. this is a great product. I encourage all office managers to get a free trial of the TassimoPro system for their office. trust me, your employees will love you for it. It’s like having a barista in the office, without having to pay for it. The machine is dead simple to use, reduces cleanup and allows everyone to have his or her favorite hot beverage whenever they please.
