Attention Moms of Dora Fans, You don’t want to miss this!

If you have small children in your home, whether they are boys or girls, then you have probably been introduced to Dora the Explorer. Kids love her. It's just the way it is. (i have a house full of boys and i've seen an awful lot of Dora in my years as a father!)

So let me take just a moment away from food to tell all moms of Dora fans out there that, if you have a participating Walmart close by, your daughter has the chance to make their own Dora the Explorer gymnastics show ribbon.

This event will be held on the toy aisle in front of the Dora displays in select Walmart stores from 9/20/2012 through 9/23/2012. You and your daughters can see a demo of the new Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll (A must for this year's up and coming Dora fan) and a chanceto decorate your very own gymnastics show ribbon just like Dora's. Be sure to be there between 11:00 AM and 4:00PM or 1:00PM to 6:00PM (on the 23rd only).

C'mon, Mom. It's a fun little outing and your daughter will love it!

Hey, I know it isn't about food, but it is about family, and that's just as important.  I know if I had a little girl still living with me, I'd be there. It's a Dora thing.

Also, I was going to post dora's favorite recipe, but it seems to be a mystery.  if any of your daughters happens to know what Dora's favorite meal is, please let me know and I'll post it as soon as possible…
