Bits and bobs

Just thought I’d let you all know what’s going on behind the scenes here at my little slice of the web.

• I was invited to join what I find is a pretty neat little blogroll called The Great Cooks! There are some pretty good cooking blogs listed there, so go have yourself a look-see, maybe you’ll come across something you like.  While you’re at it, sign up,I’d love to see you there.
• I’m working on getting my own list of favorite food blogs back up and running, so if you’ve missed seeing your name listed here, fear no more, it should be back on the sidebar sometime tonight or tomorrow.
• The food snob has been yelling at me from the back of my head, and I’ve been ignoring him for too long, expect something from him soon.
• you’ve probably noticed that I’m slowly adding advertising around the site.  Feel free to check out anything that looks interesting to you.  I’m not pushing though, if it’s not up your alley, don’t worry about it. [subliminal message="click the ads!!! They're better than chocolate."]
• I’m working on my first article intended solely for syndication with Associated Content or one of the other media services out there, I’m hoping I’ll have that done in a week or so, but I’ll let you know when it’s done.
• I’ve got some invitations to an organization I’m affiliated with that will be sent out this weekend.  A lot of my fellow bloggers will be receiving one, I hope you’re one of them!
